After careful consideration, Sunday’s MV BIG Golf Fore Kids Tournament will be POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE due to predicted inclement weather conditions including rain and high winds in the area. We know this may come as a disappointment as this is the first time in the tournament’s 30+ year history that Mother Nature has impacted this tournament.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to seeing you for the rescheduled tournament date next spring on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Mink Meadows Golf Club.
Thank you for your continued support of our programs on Martha’s Vineyard. Please contact Tori Costa at tcosta@emassbigs.org for any additional inquiries.

In 1974 an informal group of volunteers began serving as mentors to six disadvantaged youth on Cape Cod. Soon after, the group was formally organized as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands. The program was founded due to the large population of at-risk children- particularly those living in single-parent homes on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard.
In 2006, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands merged with Boston-based Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts (formally of Massachusetts Bay) to improve organizational sustainability and increase capacity to serve children. Based in Hyannis, MA we are currently the only one-to-one youth mentoring agency on Cape Cod.
