The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands is to partner with under-resourced families to provide their children with transformational, one-to-one professionally-supported relationships with caring adult mentors, so that their children will thrive.

The pandemic has had a significant impact on the young people in our communities. Our youth have lost critical socio-emotional skills, are facing mental health challenges, and are falling well behind historical levels of educational attainment. As a result, the number of youth referred to Big Brothers Big Sisters is at an all-time high. At no time in the organization’s 49-year history has the need for mentorship been more urgent.
