You don’t need superpowers to be someone’s hero…you just need to be you, and be there! Right now, there are girls around Greater Boston looking for a mentor, a guide, a friend – someone who can help them reach their potential. That someone could be you – and it could be the most rewarding thing you’ve ever done!
We offer two volunteering options for women:
- Mentor 2.0 – technology-enhanced one-to-one mentoring program that provides transformative 1-1 support for low-income and first-generation high school students to prepare them for high school success, college matriculation and workforce readiness. This program makes it easier than ever to become a Big through weekly online communication and monthly in-person meetings. We work with Boston Green Academy in Brighton and the Edward Kennedy Academy of Health Careers in the Fenway, both accessible by car and the Green Line.
- Community-Based Mentoring – our traditional 1-to-1 mentoring program where you meet with a Little Sister 7-12 years old at least twice a month for a few hours each.
When you fill out this form:
- We’ll reach out to you!
- Tell us about yourself. What kind of student would you be interested in mentoring? What are your interests?
- Tell us which program you are interested in volunteering – Community-Based Mentoring or Mentor 2.0
- Ask questions!
