As a Match Support Coordinator, you are part of a team that delivers the volunteer, youth and parent support experiences that sets BBBSMB mentoring apart from all others. We seek great candidates adept at using the telephone and internet to provide personalized attention to enrich the experience of friendship in our programs. Opportunities to lead an onsite Campus based or site based program (requiring you to be onsite for the program 2x per month), match events and activities, and collaboration with other Program teams fill out the opportunity overview. The goal of the Match Support team is to nurture and sustain the Big and Little experience for all volunteer adults and youth. A Match Support Coordinator evaluates friendships and delivers tailored guidance, direction and risk management assistance to volunteers and families. They effectively coach and motivate volunteers to grow friendships that result in positive youth development.

Qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree and 2-3 years, Associate’s degree and 4 years, or 8 years of relevant work experience of social services, human resources, volunteer management, or related experience. Experience in case management desired. Intermediate level Spanish communication skills preferred. BBBSMB serves a diverse population and seeks staff which reflects this diversity.
Required Skills and Abilities: The right candidate will be highly motivated, goal-driven and possess outstanding problem solving, critical thinking and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication required. Intermediate level oral and written Spanish communication and interpersonal skills preferred. Early evening and select weekend days required. Must have reliable transportation to travel to assigned site-based or campus-based program 2x per month during the academic year.
