Match Support Coordinator – work from home, part-time

As a part-time Match Support Coordinator, working from home, you are part of a team that delivers the volunteer, youth and parent support experiences that sets BBBSMB mentoring apart from all others. We seek great candidates who desire to work from home and adept at using the telephone and internet to provide personalized attention to enrich the experience of friendship in our programs. May also manage a site-based community program and collaborate with other Program teams to fill out the opportunity overview.

The goal of the Match Support team is to nurture and sustain the Big and Little experience for all volunteer adults and youth. A Match Support Coordinator evaluates friendships and delivers tailored guidance, direction and risk management assistance to volunteers and families. They effectively coach and motivate volunteers to grow friendships that result in positive youth development.

You are the first person in the agency to see impact of BBBSMB school and community-based programs. Being part of the Match Support team will mean being part of a focused group that takes pride in delivering excellent match support services. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree and 2-3 years, Associate’s degree and 4 years, or 8 years of relevant work experience in the areas of of social services, social work, volunteer management, child development or related experience. Required Skills and Abilities: The right candidate will be highly motivated, goal-driven and possess outstanding problem solving, critical thinking and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication required. This position works from home and must have a workspace that allows for confidential conversations. The candidate must have the ability to periodically work in the office for required trainings and meetings and access to reliable transportation to travel to site programs.

Hours: This position works 17-20 hours per week, afternoon and evening hours; may include weekend hours
