2018 was an incredible year. Thanks to our community of supporters and partners, we widened our reach and deepened our impact, igniting the potential in more children than ever before.
WHO WE ARE:
Our mission is to partner with under-resourced families to provide their children with transformational, one-to-one professionally-supported relationships with caring adults mentors, so that their children will thrive.
- We are the largest one-to-one youth mentoring organization in New England. Founded in 1949 in Boston, this year is our 70th anniversary and we will serve close to 3,600 children throughout Eastern Massachusetts.
- We are a leader within the Big Brothers Big Sisters national network, and a proud affiliate of one of the most recognized non-profit brands in America. We are at the forefront of new technologies and youth outcomes work that have broad implications for both the mentoring field and positive youth development.
- We are proud partners with hundreds of schools, colleges, community organizations and other non-profits – working together to serve children and achieve meaningful change in our community.
