Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands Waiting Child of the Month: Sean
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & The Islands (BBBSCCI) is launching a new “Waiting Little” Program on the Cape and Islands to match children who have been waiting for their Big for a longer than usual time frame. With the list of children growing each month, BBSCCI will highlight children who have been waiting longer than average as a call to the community to help them find a Big.
Meet Sean:
Sean is 9 years old and lives in Dennis, MA. He has been on the wait list for almost a year and is waiting for a Big Brother “as soon as possible”! He would like a Big Brother who likes to go outdoors and play sports. Sean really likes to play football, baseball and street hockey.
A Big Brother who could take him to the park and throw around a football. Generally being outside and being active would be ideal for Sean. After, you could always relax, talk about school or find other things you have in common. Perhaps you could even pack a picnic with some snacks to share.
Would you or anyone you know be interested in being a friend and role model for Sean? If so, click here to learn more about what the program entails and to sign-up. There are many kids like Sean throughout the Cape and Islands. Help spread the world and share Sean’s story. Hopefully we can find him a Big Brother soon!
